I have enjoyed watching some of the segments of this show on Air Canada ; and when I saw that Amazon CANADA was selling it , I bought a copy. There was no mention by Amazon of the fact that the "Blu ray DVD " cannot be read by the majority of North American Blu ray machines or even computers. As a result , it is useless. Amazon should NOT be selling this . I would have completely understood this if I had bought it from Amazon.uk but I didn't . My first bad experience with Amazon.ca.

After I saw this show on tv, I had to have it on DVD. Awesome show! But, now I find myself returning it because Amazon is falsely advertising this dvd as NTSC. It will not play in your Blu-ray, it is in PAL. So unless your dvd player is open to all regions, then stay away! I don't understand why Amazon does not change the listing. This is not the first item I've ordered that was falsely listed. Thankfully Amazon is honoring my request for a refund well past the 30 days.. but hey they are in the wrong here.

It's amazing how brilliant this show about an "idiot" is. I think it's because of his unique (and often depressing) outlook on life that keeps it (and him) consistantly interesting because you never know quite what is going to come out of his mouth. At points his thoughts might seem offensive, but it's pretty clear that he is more naive than anything and speaks his mind without fear of concequence, which is another thing that makes it so interesting.

Adding to the humour of Karl's character is the fact that producers Steve and Ricky constantly put him into situations that sill challenge, annoy, and sometimes endanger him. They also like to make him as uncomfortable as possible, whether that means making him sleep at a dingy hostel or hanging out with transexuals.

All I can say is, if you're reading this wondering whether to buy it, the answer must be yours... and the answer must be YES!

If you do not have both a Blu-Ray player and TV that support 50 Hz refresh rates then you will not be able to watch this.

This is a shame, really, as this series really is stupidly funny. I can't watch it, but I don't want to return it because eventually I should be able to watch it (when I get a new TV).

How can you describe this, an idiot is set free on the world and all hell breaks loose. Pilkington is awesome.

I was really disappointed by this product. I bought it as a gift for a friend on the assurance that it would work in region one blu ray players and it did not.

As sad as it may seem, I find myself agreeing with our intrepid Idiot more often than I'd like to admit. If I were in India (for example) I would not want random people tossing colored crap in my face. I would be grossed out by the Chinese guy coming from the kitchen, using a squat hole, not washing his hands and then going back to work. Thats just nasty!
On the other hand, "the all right wall of China" had me laughing my head off! Some of the stuff Pilkington spews out of his mouth is just mind boggling! He seems to be a nice guy but he is just shut into his own little world and to come into the rest of this world seems nearly impossible for him. Of course, that's part of what makes this program so funny.
Well worth a watch!

This DVD was hillarious !! it gave funny a new meaning. Carls perspective of the seven wonders of the world was one of a kind. If this was for real i can not wait to see the next sereis.........

I got this as a gift for my great uncle, and he loved it! He actually recommended it to, and bought it for, a friend because he found it so funny, and because it was a good quality Blu-Ray. Loved it!!
