4.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad!, Jan. 2 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Paranormal Activity 2: Extended Version / Activit paranormale 2: Version prolonge (Bilingue) (Sous-titres français) (DVD)
Took a while for things get rolling. However, in the end it was good enough to give me chills and potential nightmares in the future. I liked it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Un film assez spécial mais d'une horreur impensable., Nov. 20 2011
This review is from: Paranormal Activity 2: Extended Version / Activit paranormale 2: Version prolonge (Bilingue) (Sous-titres français) (DVD)
Ce film est un de mes favoris par son style et par son côté paranormal très développé. Ça donne l'impression que ce sont de vrais vidéos maison dans ce film.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, Feb. 28 2011
I found the first movie more disturbing than PA2, but this movie was done very well. The style was the same as the first. This is a movie worth watching.....if you liked the first PA.

4.0 out of 5 stars A clever, slow-burning supernatural tale rich with suspense, Feb. 1 2011
By
A sequel (in reality a prequel) that actually manages to maintain and be faithful to the mood set in the first film. Once again it is the humour that really works well and stood out for me. The light-hearted family moments that are such a common experience really draw you into the characters world and makes what happens to them all the more unnerving. Also as in the first, it helps not having well known actors involved to make the experience seem more authentic. And the story and characters from the first film are not only tied in to this story in an interesting way, but also much from the first film is explained and elaborated on. The suspense is unbearable, and the director manages to create enough eerie atmosphere and apprehension to terrify the audience even when you know a bit of what to expect going in. It is so effective in a minimalist way, that something as simple as a door closing will send chills down your spine. I would follow the advice on the cover and prepare yourself for a few sleepless night.
