Absolutely amazing. Best point and shoot camera I have ever used. I'm not the most technical person but I love taking pictures with family and friends on vacation and this camera is perfect.

It is very small so I would not recommend it for anyone with large or clumsy hands. It fits perfectly in the protective case I bought and the whole thing fits nicely in my small purses. Awesome for going out!

There are so many cool image settings! I especially love the vivid colour setting, it makes colours stand out really bright! Also, the auto adjust light feature takes pictures of dark rooms without a flash and even with little natural light it looks as clear/ bright as day time!

I highly recommend this camera for those looking for a cool compact camera that takes awesome pictures!

Purchased this camera because of its size and the fact that it is a Canon!! Great price on amazon, couldn't be beat! I used it all over the holidays and absolutly love it! Can't wait to take it camping.

By no means am I a camera expert, but for all of the camera's that I own, I've done a lot of research before I invest in one. This digital camera was going to be the replacement for my Casio Exilim which served me with nearly a decade of amazing quality photos... and still does! This camera is a great pairing with my now out-dated camera. I have only used it for roughly a couple of months, but it takes outstanding quality photos. It really does. Most of the shots have been your typical party pictures, nature, that sort of thing. Nothing incredibly challenging for the camera. The HD video... amazing! Truly high grade quality. I have a Canon DSLR which also does HD and kind of expected the quality to be just as good with this little guy.

For the price-point, you get a lot from this camera. I can definitely see it going the long haul and it definitely fits all of my needs. You will not be disappointed.

When I took the camera out of the box, the camera has a good feel to it and has a good grip to the camera so it won't slip out of your hand. The camera is smaller than I expected and the weight of it is perfect. As soon as I got the Canon powershot camera set up, I took a couple pictures and when I looked at the pictures I took, I was blown away from how the quality was on the pictures, this camera is the best camera I used in my life! I'm definatly recommending this camera to people who is interested in camera quality and a well built camera instead of a light camera that will break easily.

My old digital camera wasn't working properly so I went looking for a small, easy to use, great quality point and shoot digital camera. This one fits my requirements perfectly. I love the image quality, the ease of use and the one button movie record feature. I often take quick videos of my pet birds and usually by the time I have the camera set up, the moment is gone. I'm happy to be capturing many special moment of my life with my new Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS 12.1 MP Black camera. I love the black too - I'm tired of silver point and shoot digitals. Plus it helps me keep a grip on it - it is small and easier to drop than my old camera - be sure to wrap the wrist strap on while you are using it. Amazon had the best price around and super fast shipping. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

I felt it was time to upgrade from my previous camera (a Lumix DMC FS15) because I wanted something HD and with great low light settings. I primarily use the camera for shooting concert footage so it's imperative it work in a high volume environment and have great low light visiblity. While I haven't been to a show with it just yet, it withstood the test in my car ([...]) much better than the old Lumix would have. I've only heard and seen positive things about the low light environment capabilities so this is without a doubt the most useful, functional camera I've ever owned.

One thing to note is that a 20 minute video at 1080p takes up 4gb of space and needs to write fast, so you should be prepared to spend an additional $70ish for a class 10 32gb SD card.

Solid build quality, slips easily into a pocket and dead simple to use. Best of all, it takes great photos. Recommended!

Good quality photos and battary power remains long hours. Can keep inside pocket or hand purse. I bought a Carring case, extra battery and additinal charger for $13 from ebay.

I have used this camera for a couple of months now and I like it. It's well priced, takes excellent pictures when lighting is not an issue, shoots high definition video at the click of a button and is super slim. Where this camera falls short is when you're indoors and the lighting is average. With the flash, the colors are not translated that accurately and the pictures look a little off. If you are looking to spend no more than $225 then this is a very good buy. If you have a bit more cash and are looking for an awesome point and shoot, I would recommend the canon S95.

Great camera! Lots of options, very compact and sleek.The best feature is the slow motion video. Woud recommend this camera for sure.
