A great show tune album of a fantastic musical for every taste even if you do not like the subject matter of gay drag queens Saw the show in London & my hands were raw from clapping & came out of the theatre just bouncing with joy The production was the best Musical I have ever seen with the music/costunes/lighting/presentation/& simple sad but happy story line Bought the recording just to relive the wonderful performance

Cd arrived very quickly, in perfect condition. I am truly enjoying listening to it. Good purchase that has given us good memories.

Years ago I saw the film this musical was based on and remembered it as being very funny. Must admit I bought this CD without hearing it first so I had no idea of the sound quality which is awful. This is also the first soundtrack I've purchased from a Broadway show, another mistake I won't make again! The quality is not the same as the soundtracks from films, which are great. I bought it because of the songs which I love but NOT the way this cast screams them out! Would NOT recommend this unless you listen to it first or perhaps if you actually saw the show on Broadway you might enjoy it. Can't complain too much though as this is the first mistake I've made in ordering on-line.
