Statham's gritty UK cop flic,

For those accustomed to Statham's slick action Hollywood fare, this is a grittier film where he portrays a plays-by-his-own-rules cop suddenly paired with his opposite to track a psychotic cop-killer. It's all very familiar (like an early Dirty Harry but a tad more brutal), and despite some plot weaknesses, Blitz still holds the viewer's interest. Extra blu-ray features include trailers, cast & crew interviews, and a behind-the-scenes. (3 1/2 stars)
