I've watched this thing at least a dozen times since I got it.
The beauty of this disc is how much information it captures, how close you get to look into a day in the life of the Foo Fighters, over the course of 16 years. The ups, the downs, the fights, the drugs, the comfort and pleasure of rock and roll.
To see the motivation, and the enjoyment, what helped to create some of their best songs and albums and to see them pour even more passion into Wasting Light. I've watched this with other long-time fans and people who have never(unbelievably) heard a Foo song and everyone enjoys it just the same.
As a pure documentary it is enjoyable, as a fan it is thoroughly entertaining.

I wasn't a huge Foo Fighters fan, and I thought a lot of their music was to MTV and radio friendly. Until I watched this documentary. It answered all my questions about the Foo Fighters, and looked at the history of the band, good and bad. I really respect that. A great documentary for any fan of music, not just Foo Fighters fans. Great documentary, and it has also converted me to a Foo Fighter fan, especially the new album.

There's no Back and Forth about it... If you're a Foo Fighters Fan you need to own this! Everything you want from a documentary, and more. A great behind the scenes look at how the band works together as a family, and what makes that band great. One of the best Rockumentaries I've ever seen. You're wasting light... order it now!
