This is my first double-edged razor, and I absolutely love it.

Of course, you can't go as fast as with a multiblade cartridge razor, and it's more difficult getting used to it, but when you do get the hang of it, you'll enjoy better shaves, and a feeling of manliness that can't be beat.

The razor itself is very well made. It looks great, is well weighted and I love the butterfly open; it makes it very easy to change the blades.

Don't hesitate if youre thinking about it, you'll get good shaves and save a lot of money on the blades in the long run.

After trying this razor for a couple of weeks i must say i am very pleased. The performance and price is all so fantastic i really forsee some kind of retro razor revolution in the future where everyone "starts" using these.

If you're thinking about it just do it. no regrets.

Pros;
- Well weighted
- Well made - works well mechanically

Cons:
- Handle not very grippy - especially when wet. I have to dry off the handle and my hands a few times.

Other comments:
- Handle was not as long as I expected, but this was my first razor so maybe this is the standard length.

This is a great razor, and works well with the blades that come with it. It's very easy to take the blades in and out due to the twist/open design. The razor doesn't get gunked up with whiskers if you haven't shaved in a couple days like most disposables. Being new to safety razors, it took me a few weeks to get then hang of not pressing too hard, and holding the razor at the correct angles, but now I get good shaves in no longer than a disposable would take.

very good razor, id recommend this product to anyone, and its very good. back in the good ol days when i use to watch my grandpa shave with this type of razor, i always wanted my own now i got it.

Bought this a little while ago and after having not received it, I contacted the seller and I found out I had put the wrong address on the order form. After knocking on some neighbour's doors I found out that the address didn't exist. Wish4Blades said it's not a problem and sent me a new one free of charge. Really good customer service from these guys.

The razor itself is also very good. It's my first safety razor and, I gotta say, it's so much better than a cartridge razor. You'll get a more traditional shave and save a ton of money on blades.

One thing I'd like to point out though, is that no instructions are included and it took me a little while to find out how to open the top. It's a lot more elegant than I thought and just turning the base of the razor opens the top as if by magic.

Looks great, shaves great and will save you money in the long-term.

I recommend this razor to anyone who's looking for a simple but elegant safety razor. The included blades are excellent and have only cut myself once because I made way too long of a stroke. They last a while and the razor is still in excellent condition after a couple of months. I really have no complains, the length is perfect and the weight is as well.

I had owned two Lord Premium Safety Razor Model LP1822L previous to this and both I had were junk and the threads that screw the head in stripped in a very short time. As I had just started shaving with a double edged safety razor, I didn't want to spend too much. This is a great razor. Easy to use, works well, good quality, and I like the weight of it. I've been using it for close to a year now and I have no interest in upgrading any time soon.

This is my first safety razor. The first thing I like about it is the weight and length of the handle. I'm a big guy with big hands so this is a plus. It's also really easy to switch razors. The 10 Shark razors that come with this Parker 99R don't seem like the best of my facial hair, but I'm also a novice so this could be due to poor technique. I think that's the most important thing when starting off with a new safety razor. It's a different way of shaving and requires practice.
