I first heard of Washed Out when a college radio station played one of the tunes from album. I became instantly intrigued and after I looked them up online and it turns out the tune I heard (Far Away) wasn't even the best song that this album has to offer (in my opinion). I simply can't stop listening to the catchy electro pop / new-wave sound of songs like Amor Fati and Eyes Be Closed. The rest of the album has a bit less energy, but overall its a great album to chill out to while sitting on the deck watching the sun set in the evenings.
