If you thought Rec 2 was just going to be more of the same, you're in for a big surprise...

The movie, which begins immediately where Rec left off, is filled with one surprising plot twist after another and the story is not at all what you'd expect. It delves much deeper into the origin of the "virus" and also reveals what happened to the female reporter from the first film.

The gripping tension is still very prominent, with plenty of jolts amidst the chaos, and the multi-camera work is very clever. The ending is fantastic and in my opinion, much more satisfying than the film's predecessor.

Rec 2 is one of those rare sequels that actually surpasses the original... and Rec was definitely a hard act to follow.
