Warner Bros. presents "Red River Blue" -- featuring Blake Shelton, with a great release. These days country music is all over the place, but this is what it should sound like. Shelton's voice and vocals on this release are better than ever, the songs are blends of Honky Tonk, love songs, ballads, mixed with rowdy party tunes that ring clear throughout this one of a kind album

If you're not a Blake Shelton fan, you will be after a brief listen to this album. This is his best so far, and that's saying something.

There is not one track I would skip over. Shelton's formula for putting over a tune is almost classic within the fueled arrangements and musicians bringing it all together. Bonus ingredients is the back up vocals by Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride.

Blake Shelton appeared on the 44th Annual Country Music Awards on November 10, 2010 where he performed "All About Tonight" and won Male Vocalist of the Year.

"Red River Blue" by Blake Shelton contains an assembly of uplifting songs. I was initially introduced to him through the cheerful "Honey Bee" song from "Now 39". Naturally, getting this cd was the next step and worth it. The following are a few of the musical tracks that caught my attention:
God Gave Me You: I admit that I'm not a religious person, but this song caught my attention because of its implied symbol of enduring love. "God Gave Me You" is a beautiful message of a romantic partner standing by someone through both happy and challenging times. The video to this song is also deeply touching because of the appearance of his wife (Miranda Lambert). One can see the enormous love that they have between each other through this video.
Ready To Roll: "Ready to Roll" is a catchy song about enjoying a person's company by just simply hanging out with them over the weekend.
Over: "Over" is a heartfelt song about wanting to be in someone's life to bring them joy.
"Red River Blue" by Blake Shelton is best for those who enjoy contemporary country music.

I have liked Blake Shelton since he had first started. He is an awesome entertainer and I think he would be a lot of fun to know. He can be quite funny and he likes to pull pranks. When he is on The Voice, I wonder if his finger ever gets tired of the excercise.
