I am literally impressed with this Rockwell product.
My first Rockwell product was the SoniCrafter (simply amazing and I use it everywhere), Rockwell Jawhorse (hot sure what I'd do without it) and 2 weeks ago, I bought this; VersaCut and this is another stellar product by Rockwell.

Keep in mind, I do not do this for a profession. I am simply a DIY individual with many projects in the house that my wife keeps adding to.
I own a 12" miter say, a circular saw and now this. All have their own uses.

Once you realize the purpose and use for the VersaCut, you will truly be amazed of what it can do.

I'm currently renovating my kitchen.
I am using this to rip my 3/4" Ply for my second layer of sub-floor (for tiling), cutting our drywall still hanging on the wall or ceiling in a straight line and in a matter of seconds and honestly doing a lot of other little things with this.

Again, it wont rip a 2x4, but that is what you have a circular or miter saw for, but for the easy of using it one handed, portability and what it can rip through is something for you to consider.

This has sped up my work and it doesn't blow the dust that a circular saw would which is huge as we still live in the house while I'm reno'ng the kitchen

I would not hesitate to recommend this product.
I am simply sold on most Rockwell products and this is ABSOLUTELY no exception.

I'm taking apart a wall in an old mobile so had to get rid of rotten plywood and studs and rip out the old metal siding. The Rockwell VersaCut Circular Saw is exactly what I needed. I like the weight, the sound and the fact that it cuts metal and wood. Good saw for a handywoman or artist.

I was looking for a tool to cut in place material without damage to underlying material. This was the perfect choice safe, dept adjustable and light weight.
Would recommend this tool to anyone

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it seems to be a sturdy, well made tool.

If you are looking for a compact, powerful do it all saw, you'll be very happy with the versacut. I've been using mine for two months now and the rest of my saws are gathering dust.

This has to be the best cutting tool ever. Especially the diamond blade. We had to cut the counter top tiles and it worked like a charm. It works exactly as advertised.

My son is an electrician and carries his tools with him from job to job. He really appreciated the portability of this saw and the solid design. He likes it.

This is a great gift. We got one for our friend who does repairs on our house to help with his repair business.

C'est mon conjoint qui l'a utilisé pour la première fois. Semble satisfait de la précision et de la bonne maniabilité de l'objet. Pas une panacée mais outil intéressant à ajouter au coffre de tout bon bricoleur.
