This game is a must buy, serious dungeon crawler for serious gamer. I f you have been bored like me lately with games that are unchallenging and very short sighted, this game is for you. All about the experience.

I will make this quick. This is seriously the best RPG of all time and actually better than Demon Souls. No jokes.

Incredible game. Played Demons Souls first, so I knew what I was getting into. But this game took it a whole other level.

The game is awesome. A true challenge ! It has the same look and feel than the first one, Deamon souls. If you like Deamon Souls, this is a must by.

My only problem is with the collector edition. You DON'T get a strategy guide.... noooo. What you get is a nice code to redeem a PDF file. Wow ! A pdf file seriously, I want the guide printed. No CD either you got to download that too. While I'm totally ok with donwloading the sound track, I canit on CD myself. But not being able to have the guide without my computer open. Honestly it's a same. Make me pay 80$ I don't mine. Put don't give me a cheapo product. I will print it I guess. Next time I'll save 10-15$ and buy just the game.

Oh and the art book is sick ... (sacarsm here)

Dark Souls brings new improvements to its predecessors namely the gameplay mechanics, new equipment, monsters and so forth but lacks one of the major components that made Demon's Souls sensation namely the online co-operative play that made it a more long-lasting game for a lot of people. I was a big Demon's Souls fan and this felt like a betrayal not because the feature was not properly implemented but because no elaborate mention of this was made before the purchase of the game and false advertising (like really? coop is available but you have to choose strangers? Now a lot of people who bought the game with their friends and family are left with utter disappointment. From Software, I really held you in the highest regard because of Demon's Souls and the prospect of what this game could've been. Now I felt they're just another company taking advantage of their customers.

Dark Souls is a racist game. The reason for the word "Dark" is because of the extra melanin in the skin of the game.

What I find interesting is that there are not very man Negroids in dark souls. I think this is racist because the game does not show a diversity of races.
