Interesting documentary, not necessarily revolutionary

I will preface this by saying that I have recently become a vegan, and before that I was a vegetarian for nine years. This means that a lot of the information presented in the film I had either heard before, or had little trouble believing was true.
The premise of the film is to focus on the work (and lives) of two researchers who started working decades ago to show that a plant-based diet with little to no intake of meat and meat byproducts was a good way to maintain one's health. The film showcases a series of people who have undertaken such a diet, and the results they have enjoyed.
While I agreed with most of the film, and while I definitely learned some new things, if you're familiar with vegetarianism and general nutrition, it may not seem that groundbreaking to you.
