Amazing, the best war documentary I've ever seen!,

I'm a bit of a war buff, however, I don't know why but Vietnam has always fascinated me the most. This footage and narration is just simply amazing! The picture and sound bring this documentary so close that you feel like you're a part of it. I've never seen a format like this either, the way they weave the story with real life interviews of the people back into the footage is seamless and in your face. I found myself going through a range of emotions with the soldiers from angry, sad, to outrightly "cheering" them on! A truly difficult misunderstood war, the people of History Channel did a wonderful job of explaining the multiple attitudes of a difficult political time. I`ve read dozens of books about this war from helicopter pilots to grunts, this is the real deal. This series should be mandatory viewing for our classrooms, history like this comes alive like I`ve never seen before. Give them every award you have for producing this series, it`s truly that good.. AMAZING! Thanks..
