I recevied these stones on time. The thing I never realized prior to using the stones was the amount ice dilutes your drink. With the stones my whiskey will stay strong on every sip where as with ice it tends to dilute quite a bit. I find this changes the taste. So if you enjoy the taste of your drink a definite buy.

just throw your rok in the glass, shill fast, 1 rock per once. easy to clean, and a nice little bag to keep them in the freezer.

Works well to keep drink cold without hindering the taste. Was a gift for my hubby and he loved it.

Whisky should be drunk at room temperature, that is, Scotland temperature, which is around 17-18°C at most in the summer! With our heated houses, and our hot summers here, our bottles are often a bit too warm to open all the flavours (and at 30°C, really too hot). With these stones, the spirit cools down just enough to open it, but not so cold that it doesn't taste anything. They are not meant to ice a cocktail, so if that's what you want, you should look for something else, like the mini "ice-packs" that I sometimes use for white wine when I open an unchilled bottle.Just a little disappointment, these stones are made in China. The country is not indicated in the listing, I found it on the back of the box. I decided to keep them (didn't want to pay return shipping), but as you can buy Vermont milled & made ones for only a few dollars more, that what I would have chosen. I try to buy more local (Canada, US) when possible, and most of all avoid Chinese stuff to put in my mouth. If that's a concern to you, check out the Teroforma stones also listed here:Teroforma- Whisky Stones

Keep drinks cold however duration less thank ice and we still use ice but able to use less which does the trick and drinks aren't watered down as much.

I tought these would cool my drink, but they don't retain enough cold to be effective. Even putting 4 rocks is not enough.
