5.0 out of 5 stars Sick game. Coming from a Tricky fan.
Loved SSX Tricky because of its insane tricks and stunts....this game just took that and made it even more crazier!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Great if you don't have any friends that want to play in your living room
I love the game-play and the general style of the game, there's nothing here not to like for a fan of SSX tricky or any other SSX game. But be warned, there is no local multiplayer! This is essentially a racing/showoff game but without the fun of getting to race someone who's actually in your living room.

It may be a great game but no local / split-screen...

What can I say? I've been playing all day and don't think I ever wanna stop! If you liked SSX Tricky or any of them, than this is for you. Online mode is great lots of tournamnets, and lots to explore. Ridernet also keeps you up to date on what your friends are doing. Graphics are great, maps are incredibly detailed, heavy emphasis on rails and jumps. Survival mode is new (I believe) and it has lots of variety.

SSX is one of those "extreme sports" snowboarding game. If you have played the past titles, or have enjoyed other snowboarding games then you don't want to miss out on this one. The story mode boast 9 deadly runs that will take your snowboarding to new levels and heights. Honestly, you get to use a wing suit to fly over huge gaps in the mountain. The game runs very fast, almost too fast at times, but this adds to how intense each run is. On top of the story mode, you have the ability to explore each mountain, place or recover geotags,(google it if you don't know what that is), and online play. Unfortunate, and the only reason this game didn't get a full five stars from me, there is no splitscreen play. If you want to play with your friends, you will have to do so online only. With all the upgrades and extras, this game is one of the best this genre has ever seen. It is a worthy purchase.

It may be a great game but no local / split-screen multiplayer ruins any fun that siblings or friends can have together (at least without 2 systems and 2 games and 2 TVs??)
