The writers of this series have truly outdone themselves! We all know the acting, sets, and just the overall talent/money put into this series is over the top. The thing is though, inflated budgets don't necessarily make for excellent outcomes. HBO has yet again delivered on all levels! The power struggles throughout season 2 make the series so "high stakes" by the end of EVERY episode you're just dying to know what's going to happen next. New alliances are formed, pinning Nucky and Jimmy against each other for the atlantic city "crown". Everyone's character in season 2 truly picks up the pace/intensity making this show one of my favourites these days.. It's quickly becoming one of the smartest, classiest gangster series I've ever seen.. Be prepared for the power struggle, it's going to be a blood bath.. Hope this helps, enjoy, highly recommended!!

Quality writing, acting, cinematography consistent with the first season. Nothing to complain about regarding bluray quality either. The discs have a good amount of interesting special features. Highly recommended if you enjoyed the first season.

After buying the first season, I knew I had to get season two.
It did not disappoint. Great acting. Superb story telling.
Anyone who misses The Sopranos on TV will appreciate this great series.

This is an excellent series. We purchased the first season and were glued to it. Waited patiently for the 2nd season and how half way through watching it. Fabulous story and great action. Highly recommended. Now I want to see Atlantic City in today's world.

If you liked season 1, you will love season 2. Can't wait for season 3 to become available. Awesome story lines with some unexpected turn of events.

The costumes and sets are terrific. The graft and corruption is well portrayed and the 1920's era looks great. Another great HBO series following The Wire, Rome, Deadwood and Sopranos. Overall a great series. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the actors, story line and the time period. For the fashion buff, the Costumes are great but the ladies dresses and hats are so beautiful

If I say I am impatiently waiting for season 3, this should explain my ratings for seasons 1 and 2.

Good story, good sets, great costumes, this show can be very addictive! I would definetely recommend it to any history/drama fan.
