The characters are friends you want to do well and overcome obstacles. I laugh with them, cry with them, and do not have to brace myself for harsh language. Terrific family show.

We started watching the series on ROKU and were disappointed when we got to the end of three seasons. We have enjoyed this season just as well. It is a pleasure to find good entertainment without all the sex and violence we see on network TV.

I've only purchased two DVD's (or sets of DVD's) in my life. Since I caught a few episodes of Heartland on TV, I've been hooked. Each episode is a complete story yet together they are the saga of a family. I looked forward to each one like one would anticipate meeting with friends. Most had me laughing or crying, or often times both. Great family entertainment....and would engage all ages.
