5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome
I am a Black Keys fan who loves the old albums and the newer produced style of Brothers as well. This album is spot on. Each track has it's own personality and many of the songs are memorable. This will go down as one of the 'classic' Black Keys albums.

3.0 out of 5 stars This album is OK
This album is not nearly as good as Brothers (or any of their previous releases). This is also not the best album of the year (as per an earlier post). The Sheepdogs album everybody is currently going crazy over (Learn and Burn) is better than this. As are a number of others.

It is not a terrible album by any stretch, but it is not up to the standards I have...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great album, amazing band!, Dec 30 2011
This review is from: El Camino (Audio CD)
I love the Black Keys, and this album lives up to their standards. It's a CD that any guitar lover will throughly enjoy!! Heavy on good bass and electric solos throughout, without becoming stale. Gold on the Ceiling is by far my favorite track. It's slightly different then their last album, a little lighter sounding music is probably the best way to put it. They bring through all the best from previous records to this one. Anyone who is a fan will love it, and it will convert people to the band. Hoping to see them live. If your still not sure check out youtube for a video of them recording Lonely Boys in the studio, you can tell they love what they do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, April 5 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: El Camino (Audio CD)
I bought this album even though I only knew a couple of their songs (Tighten Up, Howlin' For You, Lonely Boy) and I was amazed by it. In my opinion there isn't a bad song on this album and I recommend it to everyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars In Amazon.ca Top 10 for good reason., Dec 12 2011
This review is from: El Camino (Audio CD)
El Camino is my first Black Keys purchase. If you're new to Black Keys, you're in for a real treat. It's like a hot piece of homemade apple pie just out of the oven with a side of ice cream. You just wanna keep going back for more. I'll certainly be checking out other Black Keys albums based on El Camino.

It is not a terrible album by any stretch, but it is not up to the standards I have come to expect from The Black Keys. Be your own judge and have a listen.

This review is from: El Camino (Audio CD)
Wow, I cannot get enough of this album. One of those rare treats where every song on the album is amazing and you can't skip it. I am in disbelief how great this album is. Came out just in time before I go on christmas vacation!
