5.0 out of 5 stars Intense review of human nature,
Great drama for anyone who likes the messy emotions of human nature and who isn't looking for some quick resolve.
4.0 out of 5 stars great movie,
enjoyed the movie a lot. the combo is a bonus but i didn't have a blue-ray then to evaluate the BD features. the regular disc is still good
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Movie For Learning,Just About Anything.,
"You know I've waited a while before I wrote a review on this movie"for the simple
fact to see what the response that other people give, and it's nothing more than astounding
to see what was writhen, "Shame" will give you the impression,to some people I guess, that it's
not about Shame? even though it's called Shame"when you're not used to seeing movies like this,
people think it shouldn't be shown, this is not wear life should Stop, just because they like things normal,
if we're normal I absolutely beg to differ,it's almost like a surprise to them of what they just saw,
all the things that goes on today, doesn't surprised me one bit,Sex Addict's can be a whole case lode
for some doctors I'm sure, never been there,I think the only guy,and they pick the right one,is "Michael Fassbender"
to play this role,if you want to see a really and more Humanistic movie, watch the "Hunger" with "M.Fassdender"
it's a true story too.
Great Movie For Learning,Just About Anything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful, Disturbing,
Shame (La honte) (DVD)
Not an easy experience to view this film, but well worth it for the quality of the acting, the vision of the director, the atmosphere and the extraordinary camera work. Michael Fassbender is mesmerizing in a bleak, difficult and unsympathetic role. Carey Mulligan is excellent as always, vulnerable, unsure of herself and a little desperate.
The acting holds your attention, but it is the direction and the camera, which spares nothing from view, that makes it all work so effectively.

5.0 out of 5 stars i absolutely DESPISE blu-ray / dvd COMBOS ..... but ....,
if you are a fan of emotional intensity, introspection, human psychology, and CINEMA ......
and you have a developed sense of empathy toward your fellow human beings ....
you will not be disappointed by the experience you will have watching this FILM.
it is not a particularly pleasant experience, but it is fascinating, and rewarding, in its own way ...... and at the same time it is gloriously beautiful filmmaking ...... i've seen it only once, and it almost struck me as a silent film ....... as it seems we spend a lot of time immersed in watching 'brandon' think and act. and yet there is plenty of 'dialogue', and the sound design is subtle and quite powerful .... this includes the way the score is mixed within the overall soundtrack .....
i now want to see mcqueen's film 'hunger'
well done. to ALL involved in making this film.
exceptionally courageous performances by fassbender and mulligan
I can't wait for McQueen's next feature ... 'twelve years a slave' (2013)

4.0 out of 5 stars Deep. Powerful. Artistic,
Certainly this is a disturbing movie, and one that makes you reflect on it to fully understand. I must acknowledge still being baffled by many emotions that the characters experienced.
Memorable. A good one to discuss with friends over drinks long afterward.
