Shallow read considering the jacket cover promises,
By K (Calgary) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Normal Gets You Nowhere (Hardcover)
While Kelly has some nice interesting, nice, spiritual things to say, so do most people. This book is by no means a book about those who changed the world by swimming against the grain; it's more like life according to Kelly for pre-teens. In fact, I'm not sure where Kelly's somewhere vs. nowhere is exactly. Having a lot of money? Whatever.Really lacks any actual commentary and research on those who've really impacted the world for the better, and in fact Mother Theresa is even slammed at one point as helping spread AIDS in India (assuming Mother Teresa actually did advise not to use condoms). In many ways a sloppy, lazy work that is pitched and marketed far above its actual value. I say it again, where and what is your somewhere Kelly?

The other side of Kelly Cutrone,
This review is from: Normal Gets You Nowhere (Hardcover)
Kelly is renowned for her "Bitch side" however, in this book we discover a very spiritual person whose life is guided by the Divine. Of course, she keeps her anti-conformist style throughout the book which makes you question the way you see the world. As a PR girl, I preferred the first one but, this one teach you a lot and makes you more open to the world. Her book is simply amazing.
