For the product itself I am a bit disappointed. All case and inside is made of plastic. Cheaper plastic then expected. No digital copy included in the bundle like some say over the net. The tesseract itself is pretty cool. Thor, Captain America and Avengers are in 3D. The confidential files look cool but you can see they are a replica.
All in all a goo purchase if you don't own the movies already like my case. If you do think twice or wait to see it in a store. Im curious to know how limited is this "Limited Edition" stuff.

Was very much looking forward to this. Then it couldn't be sent out because of the case fiasco. I understand that and the length of time & cost to replace that element. The part that is the let down is that the case itself seems really cheap compared to the contents & previous case look.I love the art work on the disk covers, items in files are well though out & executed. My tesseract seldom lights up & could be better. Gets 4* for contents, case it's self seems like a cheap toy. (Wasn't expecting the real deal but have other "toys" that are done better.)Still good purchase if u don't already own all the disks.

Pour une personne qui n'avait pas encore les films je conseil l'ensemble. Mais il y a quelque problème qui choque un peu. La mallette est durement transportable car la poignez est beaucoup trop petite. De plus les caisse des DVD/Blu-ray, son vraiment mal fait pour la fonctionnalité car les disques ne reste pas à l'Intérieur, mais sinon pour les films il y a rien à redire.

The set is pretty good, the bonus portfolios are an interesting addition, but I have to say I am disappointed that the Iron Man discs are only the main feature and not the second disc from each Blu-Ray set. I guess I assumed from the fact that this was a 10-disc set that it would include the bonus discs from each film, however the extra discs are actually the 3D films for Captain America, Thor & Avengers as well as a disc of bonus features exclusive to this set. I admit I didn't look TOO deeply into this, I did ASSUME that the set would be presented the same way as it is presented separately... I almost wish I had bought the individual films instead.

Ok - This is some great movies packed in a toy....people expecting a real metal case with working electronics and amazing replicas of movie props will be disappointed.

If you don't own the movies, this is a great set. Good value in a fun collectable (this is not a limited edition numbered set) - pretty cool overall.

I have had an opportunity to unbox one of these and I was struck at how it is, as another review called it, a toy with bonus movies included. The case handle fits a small hand, the inside has pretend buttons and mini-legal folders. It is very cute and I can see my son having been excited with it when he was in elementary school. But it is a very expensive toy that does little.

If you are an adult, it is a lot of money for six movies that were packaged more completely as separate items and now sell individually for much less that the bundle price of $24.00 each. For example, my Avengers disc came with digital copy and soundtrack download. My Iron Man was in a steel box and had a second disc.

This new set is underwhelming. If you think you must have the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE ONE BLU-RAY COLLECTION, I would suggest that you wait until it falls below $100.00.

Really disappointed with the overall quality of everything, I didn't expect much but definitely expected more than what was delivered especially when taking the time it took to ship out in to consideration.

The case and its interior bits are incredibly flimsy and although the cube does light up it requires a forceful smack in order to do so and doesn't look all that cool anyway. I didn't think the thing would be made of steel or anything but I guess I was hoping for some kind of quality and not, what appears to be, plastic made from recycled straws. I was actually thinking I'd be able to leave this collection out as some kind of cool nerdy decoration but I think it's more of an embarrassment than anything else, definitely getting tucked away out of site.

It's not all terrible mind you, the dossiers are pretty neat overall and the art on the movie disc sleeves is nice but that's about all the good I have to say about this collection.

Unfortunately for me I was struck with immediate regret the second I took it out of the box but there's not much I can do about it, at least I have all of the movies now.

While I can understand why some may be disappointed that this is a plastic replica, I must say overall this is a great collection which is basically a valentine to fans. My only mild gripe is that the discs are just the regular releases, no special labels or menus, seems a little lazy. The box itself is great, it's hard to imagine that it could have been made out of anything other than plastic for the cost. The Cosmic Cube looks cool when it's glowing, the reproduction materials are very interesting and fun to look over. The onion skin Mark I designs and napkin included in the Tony Stark file were a couple of my favorite pieces, look like the real thing! I recommend this to folks who are A) Huge fans of these movies/characters or B) Don't already own all of the movies included (I held off for this box, look forward to watching the included 3D versions). The props, cube and case are all very cool to look at but maybe worth a third of the total cost, buy it for the movies first and the case/props and bonus disc second and you won't be let down!

It even comes with files on each Avenger with small props or details that just make any fangirl jump in excitement. The Captain America trading cards Coulson had, blueprints of Stark's arc reactor, a napkin he "signed". Just so awesome!!

Oh and the movie is great too! :D

It is no secret that I am a fan of Marvel's Cinematic Universe and this "boxed set" is just what the doctor ordered. It is nicely built and sturdy with enough bells and whistles to make it COOL as well. I really have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of these movies. They may not all be gems but as a group they tie in nicely together and fill me with anticipation for Phase 2. Iron Man 3 was a bit of a misstep but there is plenty more to come in Phase 2.
