These are the exact same quality as the previously way over priced released ones (2002) from Columbia house & guthy renker & shopnorthern here in Canada,but these are affordable compared to the ones that were released before. As a huge fan i was thrilled that time life was releasing new Carol Burnett show dvds at a affordable price because i along with many other fans could not afford the ones that were previously released. I purchased the time life 22 discs 50 episodes box set at a cost of $200.00 which is a big deal compared to the other previously released ones.This 6 dvds set has 16 full uncut episodes of some of the best shows,about 50 minutes each. FANS WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED,unless you require captions which these dvds do not have. I guess at this point in time these will be the best quality releases we will ever see of the Carol Burnett show, SO ENJOY THE QUEEN OF COMEDY & HER FANTASTIC CAST OF REGULARS.

WARNING: Be very careful from who & where you buy the Carol Burnett show dvds, many online crooks are selling cheap DEFECTIVE! bootleg/counterfeit dvds of this show,several on EBAY & IOFFER.

My wife a I both loved Carol Burnett groing up so now we can watch it when ever we want.
I will probabley get more in the future.

My 94 years young father was given this box set for Christmas.
However, you can find it cheaper (Costco)
He's enjoying the DVD greatly.

They just don't make shows like the Carol Burnett Show any more. SNL is the closest show out there, but, the camaraderie of the ensemble cast in the Carol Burnett Show cannot be matched today.

While best of clips are nice it is better to see a show in its entirety. The Carol Burnett Show was one of the best TV Variety shows.

Tape is of excellent quality.
Enjoyed watching this amazing group of talented artists.
They very much appeared to really enjoy working together.

I've become so tired of the kind of thing that passes for comedy these days and was wishing that there would be re-runs of shows like those of the Carol Burnett show on TV. The wish was granted and I couldn't be more pleased. Many thanks and yes, I am more than willing to recommend the DVD set.

By the way, your price was much better than the TV offer too!

I guess I was expecting more of the most hilarious moments with Tim Conway,the dentist with the novacaine and needle and other great moments.

Laugh And Laugh Hard, Tim Conway is the Best. Carol Burnett is the best in her era of comedy at that time. Everyday situations were the norm during the 1970s. Hope to play it again and again.

The DVD was delivered in a timely fashion--it arrived in perfect condition--hours of enjoyable shows--I would recommend this DVD to all the fans of the Carol Burnett Show.
