Very enjoyable. I like the face you can run around middle earth and get side quests as well as find mitheral bricks. The only frusterating part was the Oliphant battle at Pelor Feild when playing as one person. You can do it, but it takes a long time.Game play is smooth and each of the main characters have special abilites that can be used (Sam can dig and light fires, Aragorn can track ...)

Came on time and the kids liked it. My son says its the best of all the Lego Wii games, and better than the Harry Potter one.

I like Lego and Lord of the Rings, so this should have been a fun purchase. And it is, when it works. Sadly, there are too many times when the controls lock, the screen freezes, and the speakers emit an irritating buzz. Doesn't happen with any other Wii games I have, so I'm assuming it's a problem with this one.Pluses: Big world to explore. Lots of different things to do at each location. Time passes, cycling from day to night, and the scenery changes to match. Minuses: Dark locations are too dark to easily spot items and clues. Game is buggy and freezes, losing all progress. |
