This the the third installment in the Leopard series by Christine Feehan. I am a great fan of Christine's Leopard Series, Carpathian Series and Ghostwalker series. She does not disappoint.

I recommend reading her series of books in order as written as the character's history and background overlap in with each preceding book. Character development is essential for a great novel, and Christine expertly draws on previous knowledge to create each of her characters.

Burning Wild is no children's book. The content is adult, as are all Christine's novels, but she herself admits that the character of Jake and his abusive background are not for everyone. The abuse is detailed quite graphically and his eventual character flaws are equally graphic.

If you are a Leopard Series fan, this is a must read. Jake, Drake, Josh and Connor are all included in the novel. The next novel portrays Connor and his leopard "tails". Rumor is her next novel is Drake....here's hoping a happy ending for this tragic character.
