Anita Blake is a down to earth character; She doesn't get impressed easily. I had a hard time getting used to LK Hamilton's style but now, with the third book read, I'm completely immersed in this series and I look forward to the next one.
Circus Of The Damned was the best one yet, but the fist 2 were also excellent.
