This review is from: The Man Who Scared a Shark to Death (and other true tales of drunken debauchery) (Paperback)
While some of the anecdotes recounted in "The Man Who Scared a Shark to Death" are sure to make the least repentant boozer cringe, this is a seriously funny book. Its biggest strength is the commentary contained in forewards to each chapter, in which Boivin and Lombardo's strength as humourists shines through, but the tales themselves -- reminiscent of material contained in Wendy Northcutt's various "Darwin Awards" books -- are also worth the price of admission. The perfect Boxing Day read, highly recommended.
