This review is from: The Power and the Glory (Audio CD)
I was there dude! I love most prog rock, and back in 1975 I bought this record in its' original vinyl glory! I didn't like it then, but I kept it in my collection. And I've played the record occasionally through the years, trying to find something in it to like, but never have. No melody, no hooks, the vocals are painfully awful and there is no instrumental virtuosity to make up for it (ie., Rush, Yes). I think the band members (or their mothers) wrote the glowing reviews here.
