This review is from: Olivia Goes to Venice (Hardcover)
Definitely not as clever and age-appropriate as the original Olivia book. The story felt very contrived and was full of humour and references that would be unsatisfying and confusing for most children interested in Olivia. Looked as though the author was trying to capture the wit of the first book but ended up crafting something was too cute and too nudge-wink at the adult crowd.
