2009 has had to be the year of bringing back all these 80's B-movies and all i gotta say is that im totally loving it!! Memories coming back to me like it was yesterday!

Movies like this one, Spring break, Joysticks, Hot Moves, Screwballs, The Beach Girls and many others are releasing thanks to the demand that has been there for a long time and im happy to see that more and more are being released in the next few months!!

Bring back the 80's trash!!

Now, that i said my peace on that, let's talk about Hardbodies. It's a typical beach movie with this good looking guy (Scotty) whose kinda in the dumps with no money, gets evicted from his place and has to sleep on the beach (like ok..not that bad, it's florida!!). Everything is going downhill till he meets 3 older divorced men who want to learn how to pick up chicks, so he offers his services for money and a place to stay.

Then you kinda know whats gonna happen after scotty moves in... parties, girls, sex, nudity, fights, dancing, funny montages, and did i say girls?? Yeah alot of that!!

Anways, Hardbodies is NOT a laugh-out-loud type of movie but it'll make you smile throughtout it.

My rating for Hardbodies 4/5

Now what about hardbodies 2....a total mess and has nothing to do with the first, it has something to do with a bunch of actors who travel to greece to film an action film of some sort. HB2 tries so hard to be funny but ends up being so lame and stupid and the main actors are just very hard to watch, no charisma and very bad acting.

Just a lame movie and try to avoid if you can, i know its part of the "collection" of the DVD set but its better off not being watched, i mean, im sure you have better movies or things to do for 90 minutes!

Anyways, like i said, stick with the original Hardbodies, you wont go wrong!
