Great everyday tool for chef's,

Wonderfully balanced for me. Performs as expected for the steel and price point. Highly recommended! Japanese steel is the only choice - sorry everyone else but nothing is as sharp. The only cutlery steels sharper than this are also from japan but cost a lot more. This is a tool for professionals, and one they can trust.
