This review is from: Legend of the Yardbirds 64-68 (DVD)
Shockingly bad from the outset. Poor design and production - the DVD menu screen has small, unreadable text, and features Robert Plant era Zeppelin audio. It is not a documentary, rather a collection of Yardbirds clips from various TV shows and performances, capped by the highlight of the DVD, an early Led Zeppelin performance (which is pretty good). You probably won't see anything here you can't find elsewhere. Some of the clips are fragments, as opposed to full song clips. Pay attention and you will see that the source video for much, if not most, of this DVD comes from other documentaries and materials. This is the worst quality Yardbirds video I've seen - was it downloaded off of Youtube? The effort here seems to have been to slap, and I mean slap, together some Yardbirds material as a setup to the birth of Zeppelin. The tip-off should have been the lack of Chapter titles in the product description, vice "Chapter 1" etc. An embarrassment to the legacy of a great band.
