It would be helpful to have some experience of improv to get the most out of this book. I can't imagine really "getting it" if you haven't been "doing it". But I'm happy to be wrong on that count. This is a little gem of a book. It takes the rules of improv (say yes, add something, do what comes next) and applies them to life. And it's a really good match. She's a good writer. I highly recommend it.
