This review is from: Scheidt: Tabulatura Nova (Audio CD)
I am sorry to say that the Wolff Organ of Knox college sound thin and aggressive and with no reverb it just doesn't sound right. Scheidt can sound much better and magestic. An important recording if you are building an organ collection or have interest in history; Scheidt's tabulatura is a milestone in keyboard music. The interpretation is fair but maybe Mr. Komisaruk would be more inspired on the Haarlem Bavokerk organ in Netherlands, or may I suggest he try the Wilhelm organ of St-Benoit's abbey in Quebec (it's nearer).
