Big deal, it is a basic tax package, no better or worse than the cheapest ones I have tried. I find it cheesy that you cannot import your data from the previous year in the basic package. When you try, it generously offers to let you upgrade to the next higher package, for twice the price.

This is an simple but convenient feature that should have been included as it was in all previous versions of the basic package. I would not pay double to save 5 minutes per return but I did resent them trying to make me.

If you only have one return or returns under $25K, get a free or cheaper package. All the hype aside, they all do about the same thing, especially for the majority of simple returns.
