This book had some amusing entertaining bits, especially the fiasco of riding out a storm while tied down to the boat's deck; however, overall, this was a slow, grinding read for me. There really wasn't enough meat throughout to hold my interest.

This book by Michael Ondaatje is very well written but I would give it a failing grade on content.
