I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The author's insight into the secret and often mixed thoughts, fears, insecurities, shame and yearnings of women is remarkable. I found myself frequently reflecting on my own life and choices I had made as I intimately related to each character in a different way - not only the three sisters, but also their mother and grandmother! The characters are beautifully real: Flawed and perfect at the same time.

I wasn't able to put it down, and didn't want the book to end! On my way to reading 'Belle of the Bayou' and anxiously awaiting your next book, Joanna!
