This really does work!!! So just to give some background, we are a household that has a large shedding dog, a cat, two adults, visitors regularly and we are outdoorsy people, therefor our house isn’t the typical perfectly clean house. But this will clean dog hair (a lot), pick up debris (it has its limits as an average vaccum would) and also cleans when mopping! Take your time going back and forth, but you’ll only need to do the same spot on reverse once. It cleans stains on very light tiles and wooden click flooring. I mean you will still need to have your good old mop for extreme messes, but my old mop has been sitting in the basement for a while since getting this. It’s a life changer! Saving so much time cleaning!

Honestly, this item is amazing. Wash and vacuum at the same time! Throw away those Vileda mops and other hand mops. Takes a while to charge, but I am able to do my entire hardwood floors (about 1000 sq ft) on a single charge. I am still amazed by the amount of dirt it picks up.
Seriously, everyone, who has bare floors needs one of these!

I absolutely love the product. The only downfall is that it only lasts for 20 minutes. If you have a smaller home, it would be perfect. It vacuums extremely well and washes the floors as well. it’s very easy to use the only reason that I gave it a four-star which actually 4 1/2 would be good. It’s because it only last for 20 minutes.

I'm writing a review because I spent so much time researching before I bought I thought I'd share my thoughts for those shopping for a floor cleaner. This is not a stick vac - it's a cordless all in one cleaner. So if you need to vacuum corners or baseboards or things like that where you would use a smaller attachment etc that's not this. This works with cleaning fluid (just water if you prefer) and in places where it senses more dirt or grease it releases fluid. Its a very small amount and the cleaner sucks up most of it. For example I was unsure about using it on my very low pile area rug but it wasn't at all damp except for one area where our feet were the most, and that dried very quickly. It's a cleaner that can be used daily if you want. It self cleans the roller. You don't need to vacuum first - this will clean it all up but it's not a stick vac - it's a cleaner. I love it. It's like using a stick vac to vacuum but you're cleaning your floors. I used to sweep or vacuum first, then clean with a microfibre mop on the wood floors, regular mop on the tile. Now its a one and done. I take a vacuum out once in a while to do the stuff I need a handheld wand for. This model is meant for hard surfaces but I found it great on low pile carpet as well. There is another model that's for all surfaces.

Good concept and has good suction power for how light it is. Fairly easy to manoeuver. They provide extra roller and filter, which was useful. I was impressed and happy with the purchase, in that it was a good timesaver for everyday/light cleaning of the kitchen and floors. I was bragging to my wife about how smart I am in finding the perfect cleaning tools. It does clean pretty well, but not the right product for thorough/heavy duty scrubbing of course (for instances, spots of extra dried up cheesy sauces would need manual cleaning even after taking this to task at max power). I used it regularly/every day for a few weeks for about 20-30 mins a day (basically until the batteries drained or I'd have to change either of the tanks more than two times). And that's when the troubles began. First, I noted the power wasn't as good as out of the box. I'd anticipated this loss, but definitely not within weeks. Second, there would be drops of water around the cleaning zone. Third, it then started leaking out of the clean water tank zone and water would pool on the base of the cleaner. I was religious about following the instructions and I'd clean most of the parts and the dirty water tank after each use. I'd also wash the roller and make sure no debris was collecting anywhere that could hamper operations. Note that the stick in resting position tilts forward at an angle. So if there's water in the clean water tank or perhaps even thr DWT, then it appears the design of this thing is prone to leaking at some point.

Long story short, if someone picky like me who keeps their tools in order will see loss in function and a failure to tightly hold the water within weeks of usage, then I'd say either I got a flawed unit or the design/engineering itself is flawed.

I really wanted to like this. I need something like this. I'm going to reach out to the manufacturer and see if they have suggestions. I will update if they prove to be helpful. Disappointed in how much it cost and that my wife has started to mock me for being so happy about the purchase earlier.

I absolutely love the vacuume/mop. While you vacuume you also mop, all in one. Product is easy to use. It just glides on the floor. Used it on laminated, vinyl and tile flooring. It's nice and compact. It fits 550ml of clean water and it only uses one cap of thr cleaning detergent. It's not too loud. Love the self cleaning function.

If you are like me and can't decide if you'd like this one or the s5 I have a couple thoughts.

The s5 came as a combo which is really neat if you need a hand held vacuume. The clean water tank is on the back side but also only take 550ml of clean water and one cap of cleaning solution. It is a bit slimmer. When charging you just place it on the plugged in charging station. With the s3 you have to place it on the charging station and then plug it in.

Both machines come with cleaning solution, extra filter, extra brush and one cleaning tool and the charging base

The s5 combo comes with storage tray, 2 in 1 dusting brush and dustbin.

First, let me tell you about my household. 3 dogs, 4 cats. 1 of my dogs, drops black clumps of hair everywhere. I have tile and wood floors. I have been using the o'cedar mop, for years and have been pleased with the job it does. I have black mats and a Ruggable rug. No, you can not just use this without vacuuming first. i tried and within minutes it was telling me to clean the roller.

I have 3 different types of vacuums, upright for rugs, simple cordless vacuum for the floors, and a canister with a floor attachment to do the floors in detail. This what I had to do before using Tineco, which is totally fine with me. It did a good job, i had to get a few spots off by hand but overall, very pleased. Dried very quickly and was not smeary.

Now my cleaning business. There is one floor that is SHINY laminate flooring. This is the only floor I have to get on my hands and knees, spay with glass cleaner and wipe it dry. Otherwise all of my other clients I am using o'cedar mop. Well this ACTUALLY WORKED. I was in shock. It did not smear or leave film on the floor. The battery life was fine for this house and mine.

This machine does not work well on stairs, I would not even bother using on any rugs. The distance between cabinet and floor can be an issue for some. Tight spots like around the toilet, does not go under a bed at all, which is fine(I can use the mop). While it does suck up stuff still on the floor, it will clog the filter or brush. Which then you have stop and clean the filter, but again I am not on my hands and knees. Keeping an eye on the water, dumping the dirty water, IN THE TOILET. I do not recommend dumping in a sink.

I still using the mop to do baseboards or tight spots. I can not use this for my regular clients and it is bit to much work and battery life.

Spectacular at cleaning your hard floors in a very short amount of time

This TINECO Floor One S3 Cordless Hardwood Floor Cleaner is spectacular at cleaning your hard floors in a very short amount of time but if you have pets or people that shed a lot of hair, it's not quite as quick and easy. (Also note that this is for hard floors only. It is not for vacuuming carpeting or rugs.)

So basically, this is a floor machine that vacuums and scrubs your hard floors simultaneously, sucking up the dirty water and leaving your floors super clean. The floors dry so quickly, I wondered if it was a steam cleaner, too, but it's not. It just vacuums up the dirty water so well that there is very little left on the floor. And wow, the water in the dirty water tank is filthy! It also has a stand that also serves as a charging dock. It has easily changeable brush rollers and filters. The dirty water tank is easy to remove and clean. There is even a self cleaning cycle that cleans the brush roller very well. Basically, you only clean manually the dirty water tank and the area where the brush roller is installed and the HEPA filter, which takes very little time.

It's a quality, well built, machine but the manual leaves a bit to be desired for such an expensive machine. For example, it comes with an extra roller and HEPA filter, which I assumed were to be used when the installed ones wore out. The manual doesn't really make it clear. Also, there are two accessory holders but it doesn't say where they go. (They attach to the sides of the charging stand.)

The machine speaks to you - giving you status reports on the charging status, telling you when to run the self cleaning cycle, when to refill the clean water tank, when to empty the dirty water tank, etc. This is actually pretty great. And it's extremely gratifying to see how dirty the water is after cleaning. Best of all, it's super quiet and maneuvers very well. I am currently living in an apartment with mostly hard flooring and I can use this machine at night without worries of disturbing any neighbors.

I was upset at first when it told me to start the self cleaning cycle after only about 10 minutes of floor cleaning. And then, I saw that the HEPA filter must be fully dry before reinstalling it in the machine after rinsing it as directed. It says the same thing about the roller brush. Then I realized THAT'S why you get an extra set included in the box!

Next, I realized that hair is what clogs the dirty water tank and gets stuck on the roller brush, prompting the self cleaning cycle. I have a household that includes a couple of dogs that shed a lot and several people with very long hair. So for me, doing a quick once over with a dust mop before using this machine works much better. Less hair means I can clean the floors for much longer before I have to clean the tank and the brush roller. If you don't have pet fur or a lot of human hair to deal with, you can skip the dust mopping but if you do have pets, be ready to stop a lot unless you use this machine almost every day to keep the hair and fur to a minimum. I also ordered 2 more HEPA filters and 2 more roller brushes so I can clean the entire apartment.

It comes with a cleaning concentrate (which is awesome, BTW) but you can also clean with plain water.

I have some unusual cleaning challenges. We had a house fire so we are living in an apartment until the house is repaired. We are working in the sooty house daily and come home covered in soot. I also have a broken wrist that is in a cast. Despite the hair challenges, this machine does an amazing job of cleaning up after us and I can manage it easily one handed. Although the owner's manual isn't the best, you will get the hang of it after using it a little and it's truly excellent. I will update if I have issues in the future but so far, I am very pleased with how well this works.

UPDATE: I am now in love with this machine and cannot imagine life without it. My oldest dog is 18 and failing fast. We take her out in a doggy stroller because it is too far for her to walk and the other day, she had a pee accident in the hallway and elevator before I saw it. Tineco Floor One S3 to the rescue. I was able to clean the hallway and elevator floor quickly and easily. Have just ordered more cleaning solution because a) it's really good stuff and b) it will void your warranty if you use another brand.

2nd UPDATE: I am still in love with this machine. My floors have never looked better and it's so quick and easy to clean up a sudden mess. Once you get used to cleaning the dirty water tank and refilling the clean water/cleaning solution tank a couple of times if you are cleaning ALL of your floors, it still saves you so much time and is much easier than even a swiffer and the floors are left very, very clean. Do learn from my mistake, though. Don't leave dirty water in the dirty water tank overnight - rinse it out right away after you are done cleaning. If you leave it overnight (or longer), the plastic tank will pick up a gross smell. If that happens, you need to clean it out and then let it sit with a bleach and water solution inside the tank for a day and then, maybe even let it sit out in the sun for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell. This won't happen if you clean out the tank right after you finish using it or after a self-cleaning cycle has been run. The machine will tell you to do this so listen to it.

Not only do I have my own home but I also run an Airbnb. No matter what I did, no matter how thoroughly I mopped, I would wipe a paper towel on the hardwood floors and it would be brown. I tried EVERYTHING. The floors would *look* beautiful and shiny but always the brown on the paper towel.
Also, doing the floors was the one task I dreaded. I have a very bad neck and I would be shaking in pain and misery by the end of mopping.

I am a low income person and am incredibly frugal… so this was a HUGE purchase for me. I’ll tell you what… it’s worth it’s weight in GOLD! To be honest, just not being in pain when I was done made it worth every penny the first use alone. It’s so lightweight, self driving and easy to use.

Performance: WOW! You can see what it picks up by looking in the dirty water tank. EVERYTHING…from big to tiny. Invisible things you never knew were there. In my house, it picked up minuscule pieces of grit and left my floor super smooth. No vacuum, dust mop, or Swiffer (or a combination of ALL of them) has ever done that. Truly amazing.

The only “con” is that it cannot get to edges. It leaves a perfectly straight line about an inch from any edge. My cheap vacuum even gets the edges better… so I KNOW the manufacturer of this unit can make it happen. All I have to do is walk around with a rag in my hand and wipe that inch as I go. No biggie. And it is CERTAINLY not big enough of a deal to make me regret my purchase.
No more brown on that paper towel. And, I cannot express this enough: you can not only see the difference but also FEEL the difference with your feet when walking barefoot. It’s glorious. Grit you never realized you could feel is just GONE. Amazing product. Simply amazing.

I recently bought the Tineco Floor One S3 cordless vacuum/mop ("washer"), and am here writing a very positive review (after calling two friends and my sister, and gushing over this mop). I am not technically-minded and was a bit intimidated by all the parts in the box and the instruction manual (more on that in a minute). But I was able to assemble it on my own, with the help of photos and some reviews here on Amazon. Please know that the first thing you will have to do after assembling the mop is charge it for 3-4 hours.

Now, the OPERATION. Oh my goodness, I am SOLD. Wow, this thing cleans hardwood floors and tile like you wouldn't believe. After cleaning, my floors feel so smooth. This mop leaves steam cleaners in its wake. I mopped for probably 45 minutes total and it went from 100% to 55% power. I am satisfied with that.

I learned a bit by trial and error in the operation, but it's reassuring to hear the mop talk to you and tell you what needs to be done - cleaned, removed, or added. I kind of wish I had sprung for the S5 series which has a clean water tank (CWT) that is twice as large as the S3. But oh well, it wasn't hard to stop and refill the CWT after about 15-20 minutes of mopping. You definitely want to use the Tineco cleaning solution and not some other brand. It works quite effectively. I was horrified when I emptied the dirty water tank (DWT) the first time. Were my floors REALLY that dirty? I refilled the CWT and made a second pass cleaning all the floors. I like the self-propelled feature which makes it easy to guide the mop. I like the mop instructing me what to do. I am also impressed with the Self-Cleaning feature after you mop.
I give the Tineco S3 an A++ for operation.

But I give the instruction manual a D-. Boo hiss. It lost something in the translation from Chinese to English. I gave up trying to figure it out, and came back here to Amazon reviews and watched a couple videos (thanks to previous purchasers!). The one thing that stumped me for about 10 minutes was the mop telling me to "press the self-clean button." I looked all over and could not find it. Here's your secret decoder ring: The self-cleaning button is on the very TOP OF THE HANDLE, not with the other buttons on the side. Good grief, I found it quite by accident.

With two cats in the house, I think I've finally found the mop I didn't know I needed. I agree with someone else's comment that a quick Swiffer over your floors first to gather up loose pet hair is a good idea so it doesn't clog the mop.

VERY happy with this purchase!

I really like the mop vacuum combo. I feel that this gets the floors way cleaner than other mop alternatives (such as a Swiffer). The sensing speed for the mop is a little odd; however, you can override it and let it "deep clean" all of the time by a simple push of the button. The self cleaning is a great feature. The battery life is long enough to clean a very large room or several smaller areas. The fresh water tank is small and will require refilling before the battery needs charging. It is very easy to refill the water tank and also clean the dirty water tank. Cleaning stairs with this vacuum is quite cumbersome and would take less time to just do them by hand. Overall, great product if you have a lot of hardwood/wood laminate flooring and really does clean them well.
