Worked for me. Lost 8'bs and 2.5" off the waist doing the modified cleanse. I might try the full cleanse next round. Smoothies were easy to make and tasted good. Extremely easy read, probably takes a couple hours to finish reading the whole book.
-Best thing I found was the 10 day shopping list broken down into 2 grocery lists (only 2 visits to the store)
-Picked up a Blendtec (highly recommened) to use with this book, makes blending much easier and way better texture and consistency
-Lots of extra recipes in the back of the book to address certain ailments or issues
-This is not a weight loss book, its a cleanse, but puts you on the right track if you are looking to change your eating habits and nutrition. Basically a fresh start to losing weight or eating healthy. Worked for me and have recommended to friends and family who have all found it worked.

I'm on day 9 and I lost so far 6lbs. I really thought I would have had better will power to tough through the hunger that comes from this 10 day cleanse but it is REALLY tough. First off 10 days is an incredibly long time to not eat food when you start this (I thought it would be easier). I started the cleanse with the idea of doing the 3 shakes a day and the snacks of veggies and nuts. But after day 1 I realized that was impossible for me. I felt terrible at the end of day 1, hungry, tired, drained. I started day 2 with the alternate plan of 2 shakes and a meal at the end of the day. This was much more manageable and definitely suited me better.

Some of the shakes tasted really good and some others were a little harder to stomach (but that's a personal preference). I found anything with apples in it tasted not as good, as it left it very thick in the shake. This program was also more or less impossible to do on the weekend for me. I spent Saturday not at home and needed to eat lunch and dinner somewhere else, and there's no smoothie cleanse shakes where I was. So the reality of 10 days on this can be a bit tough unless you stay at home for 10 days (if you have to go out for a party or to friends, its very challenging mentally to not eat whats being served, and in many cultures really offensive to not eat).

I think that had I been able to manage 3 smoothies a day for 10 days without interruptions I would have lost 10lbs. Now having said that, my life is busy and I dont think it would ever be realistic for that to happen. Somewhere in a 10 day span I wont be home to make smoothies and will need to eat either at a restaurant or at someone else's house (parties, get together, etc).

Love the smoothie recipes in this book. My husband is currently doing his 10 day challenge (this is his 4th day) and he already lost 5 pounds. The recipes are easy and smoothies are delicious. My husband and I recently completed the 10 day green smoothie cleanse. The smoothies were easy to prepare and really good. This cleanse was not easy to complete but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be either. During the cleanse my energy became very consistent. No peaks and valleys that I would usually have on a regular day. I also joined their Facebook page which I found very helpful for motivation and to find answers to questions etc. At the end of the 10 days, my husband lost 14 lbs and I lost 8 lbs! Considering I needed to lose about 15 lbs to get to my goal weight, I was quite thrilled to get this jump start. Both my husband and I feel so much better! We are continuing on with a modified version of the cleanse. This has been a terrific experience and it continues on!

I really love this book. I enjoy how its short, simple, to the point, and filled with lots of good information! I have done this cleanse twice, the first time my skin cleared up within days and the whites of my eyes were bright and I lost 7 pounds. I am currently doing it again and finding it easier than the first time. I will always have green smoothies as a part of my routine :)
