Format: Paperback
I purchased this book for my 5 year old son. The story is about some kids going to a haunted house and being very clear that they are not scared when the clock strikes midnight. On the thirteenth stroke of midnight, however, something very scary happens.

On the first stroke of midnight,
Oh nothing frightens me.
Not a vulture in a dead tree.

This is an easy book to read if you know "The Twelve Days of Christmas." You can sing along. I tried to just speak the words as I read, but I couldn't help myself. I frequently ended up singing the words.

If your child likes Halloween, they will love this book.

This is my grandchildren's favorite book for me to read to them. I is like a partridge in a pear tree for halloween. In fact I sing it rather than read and they sing with me.
