This was a tight soundtrack that perfectly complimented the movie. Thumping tracks in the trunk meant to be played loud with some subs. I'll break down each song for you. Skip the interludes.
1. Ludacris - Act A Fool - great crunk song. Very hype. 5/5
2. Trick Daddy - Represent - This song has a great beat but Trick doesn't rip like he supposed to 4/5
3. I-20 - Slum - Tight song with a moving beat...but I-20 is sorta wack... 4/5
4. Tyrese - Pick Up Your Phone - would be tight except he sounds EXACTLY like R. Kelly. As a matter of fact if you played this for someone they would think R. Kelly had a new single out. Tyrese disappointed on this one with the carbon copy. 1/5
5. Eightball - Hands In The Air - Eightball lays it down with this one, the beat is just great and strictly riding. Best song on the album. 5/5
6. Chingy - Getting It - Chingy drops a tight song with a tight beat and flow. 4/5
7. Shawnna - Block Reincarnated - It's just aight...not feeling the reggae part. 2.5/5
8. Joe Budden - Pump It Up - Tight beat but Joe Budden is just wack. Plain & simple. 3/5
9. Dead Prez - Hell Yeah - DP with a new song with a rock influence...it's straight no politics 3.5/5
10. Jin - Peel Off - Jin from 106 & Park fame gets a chance to shine...it's decent 3/5
11. Fat Joe - We Ridin - Fat Joe has kinda fell off but holds his own on this song. 4/5
12. Lil Flip - Rollin On 20's - I don't like Lil Flip that much but boy is this song tight 5/5
13. Dirtbag - F what a N. Say - It's a straight song from this newcomer but he won't make it 3.5/5
14. Pitbull - Oye - Another decent song...not wack not tight... 3/5
15. K'Jon - Miami - again another above average song, this time from a singer...but a lil too much R.

Disturbing Tha Peace has been one of my favourite groups for a couple of years now. The soundtrack for the hit movie, 2 Fast, 2 Furious, was an amazing album, with guest appearances from many artists. The First Single, Act A Fool, (Ludacris) has already been named, the Summer Anthem. The whole CD is crazy, from "Start to Finish" I am happy that I copped it and I still jam it in my car. Jin is very talented and fairly new to the game, having just been signed to the Ruff Ryders due to the victory on 106th@Park BET freestyle Friday Battles. His song on here, Peel Off, is ill. Joe Budden's Pump It Up is always tight. One of the illest joints, Trick Daddy's Represent, is really hott, my favourite. I hope u cop this album.
Go get it now

Both Tyrese and Ludacris apppear not only in the film but and on the soundtrack. The first single off this soundtrack by Ludacris â€" Act A Fool has had people bobbing their heads all over the country. It has received tremendous radio play and has been used in commercials advertising 2 Fast 2 Furious products. This soundtrack includes an all-star line up of Trick Daddy, Joe Budden, Dead Prez, Fat Joe, R. Kelly, and Tyrese. Fans of Dead Prez won’t be disappointed in their song â€" Hell Yeah. It probably won’t receive any radio play, but that is what fans of Dead Prez come to expect. Overall this soundtrack is a solid work â€" from lyrics, beats, and production. Sure to be one of the best selling soundtracks this year.

I wasn't gonna make a review until after I have seen the movie but just got the soundtrack and couldn't wait to tell the public. Anyways this album features mostly new up-n-comers like Chingy(Right Thurr) and Jin(from 106th and Park).
There isn't a downside to this album at all...this is "all ride in your car and blaze up your system" kinda music. I am pretty sure that this CD will be played in almost every car...so people ridin' the bus get ya ear plugs cuz this CD is loud and blazin'and it's one of the CD's you'll be hearin' all summer.
Aside from that this album has solid production and an all-star cast of rappers that'll keep anyone entertained for at least all this summer. Hope ya enjoy! Peace!!!

Stop hatin on 2 fast 2 furious ... sure the 1st was better, but the 1st is always better. Now I am a Ludacris fan cuz he has real rap, Ja Rule's rap is not authentic, hes a lil rich boy all his life lol. I was gonna give this a 3 because i haven't heard of half these people, but a 4 because who heard of 50 Cent on 8 Mile ?!?! ... I won't buy it ... i'll just download the tracks and burn them though :)
Well i didn't think i would buy the soundtrack ... but after downloading a few songs ... I Loved them. The next day i went to the mall and bought it ... only 15 bux but its so worth it. The cover of the CD wasn't what i expected though lol cool but unexpected. GO AND BUY IT ... BEST CD OF THE SUMMER.

the songs are tight, and they go very synch well with the parts in the movie. your either gonna like the movie or hate it. Anyhow just like a lot of people writing reviews there are many songs missing ... I dont have the cd, i borrowed it and it is quite possible that i might have overlooked a song. but im lookin for the song right at the scramble. as the police are waiting for brian and roman to do something at the warehouse, the 4x4 trucks crank up and they start playin a song ??????? its a latin song, but it DID NOT sound like "miami" or "oye" .. please anyone, i really want the song . write back plz.
