Both past experiences and also present day tips and tricks are discussed.
Sometimes the articles are highly technical and other times they merely recount in general terms what somebody did.
The Quarterly Jounals are a collection of the digital editions that you can subscribe to if you want a monthly update delivered to you electronically.
The advantage of buying the quarterly edition is that it doesn't disappear after a certain amount of time like the monthly editions will because they have a built in time limit for you to view them.

I been a reader of 2600 for years. If you've ever read it, you know what that means. I don't care for much of it, but there is the occasional jewel. And I do understand that I am but one of its many readers who enjoy the bits that I do not. So be it. I will keep looking for the jewels that appeal to me.

Thought provoking, informative, opinionated, funny, and worth every penny. I have not read an issue that I did not learn something new. This magazine is not for hackers it is for people passionate about technology as a whole.
