Linda went into very good detail regarding the methods of shedding fat. Food intake, exercise and body movement, shopping lists and recipes were all given very good detail. The book is based on shedding pounds in a healthy way, so this book would be suitable for men looking to lose a belt notch or women looking to fit into a smaller dress size.

There are a substantial amount of recipes so that you won't get bored during your 7 days. There are recipes for snacks and all 3 daily meals, and all of them are nutritious and tasty. The one that stood out to me was the egg and hummus wrap..that one will be on the menu this week!

This comprehensive "diet" book seems to have all the bases covered. Delicious recipes that make sense, a smart and "quick" exercise plan, and enough helpful hints to not just get you through to a smaller dress size, but to help you become healthier in the process. Even though there was a lot of information, it is a quick and enjoyable read, and I neither feel overwhelmed nor discouraged. In fact, this book is filled with encouraging techniques that you'll likely wish to continue using well after you're down to that perfect dress size. Well done!

One of the things that has always slowed me down with weight loss is how difficult it is to get started. Often the results just are not there and it demoralizes me. With Drop a Dress Size in 7 Days I got the fast early results I needed to keep me motivated for the long term. I highly recommend this book!

As a pharmacist myself, I was apprehensive at first about the nutritional accountability that this book would have in the process of giving advice on this topic. However, after going through the book, I became very impressed with the level of responsibility that this author showed in all her advices. She broke things down in a very simple way so that the layperson could clearly understand the facts. I would happily recommend this book to everyone. It is a great reference book to have and not just to read. It is a really wonderful book.
