A bit expensive for what you are getting IMO, but it's a sine wave output according to the oscilloscope, which is still nice peace of mind. I'd probably recommend buying on sale, but otherwise a non-sine and lower capacity version is what most people should get. I have old and new and non-sine wave UPS systems, and an old 600va unit is still is more than enough in most cases.
This UPS has an 8ms switch delay average; 10ms max I think, which is a bit on the high side IMO.
I have a 1200-watt gold power supply and the power has already gone out in my house, so I got a live test with it and it worked with the computer and monitor just fine. Normally my power draw is around 200 to 300w, but since I occasionally do machine learning or video streaming, that power load can in theory go up to 900w or so, making the 1500va a safe bet. It's overkill for me 99% of the time though.
When my power failed recently though, my DSLR camera for some reason still reset -- I had it plugged in via a cheap AC to DC dummy battery adapter, and the camera reset during the blackout. This was noticed because the camera input into my computer froze. I assumed the UPS would handle it no problem, but the 10ms power delay I guess was enough to crash it.

You can keep the display on 24/7 by holding down the menu button or something -- nice. otherwise it goes off after a few seconds.
It uses up some power to stay on -- I didn't think it would use up much power, but it's enough to consider that its a hidden cost of operation.
I really over bought with this UPS, but I wanted peace of mind knowing I was getting the best option I could find without breaking into the expensive professional waters. My computer is my life currently and even having my computer reset can be quite damaging.
