The Cine5 is the first PC speaker in the world to offer leading surround sound presence with new 28-watt "EmbracingSound Theatre HD" technology. This patented technology leverages a discrete 5-channel output to deliver full audio surround, which you can experience with the most impact when sitting or standing in front of the speaker.
For gamers, the Cine5 provides precise sound location that improves accuracy and heightens the thrill factor, with precise imaging to improve target location. The Cine5 also revives 5-channel audio from any down-mixed 2-channel source for high-fidelity, multi-channel sound during PC gaming or movie sessions.
By integrating an array of speaker drivers into a single bar, the Cine5 speaker helps users optimize space in crowded or small areas.
Additionally, installation is simple – there’s no need to arrange multiple satellite speakers to try reproduce cinematic surround effects, you can just place the Cine5 PC speaker below your computer monitor or next to a laptop on any convenient surface like a side table in the dining room.
No complex adjustments are needed to create a sweet spot for sound recreation. Cine5 plays well with others and is compatible with PCs, notebooks, netbooks, media players, and smartphones through the 3.5mm audio input.
Revolutionary bass delivery from compact speakers adds new depth and drama to any music genre, and transforms sound effects in games and movie soundtracks from the mundane to the extraordinary.
With premium speaker drivers and a specially-designed bass reflex port, the Cine5 increases bass response by up to 15 decibels compared to other similar-sized speakers.
Plus, its multi-driver configuration reduces individual driver load by 50 percent, enhancing high-frequency responses for more brilliant sound. And due to its powerful “upmixing” function, the Cine5 will create a surround image even from a stereo source.
The Cine5 speaker’s ultra modern form is a PC speaker design innovation inside an exclusive all-in-one design. Its curvaceous crescent, black glossy finish, and a conveniently centered volume/mute control convey distinctive, clutter-free cachet in any setting.
It also combines well with monitors, and can be height-adjusted with metal or rubber stands to accommodate individual preference. The Cine5 fits easily into a briefcase or backpack for ultimate sound on-the-go.

If you want a single speaker that still has some good sound, this is one to consider, it is the best PC sound bar I could find for the price and is also a nice looking piece on your desk.
Result: Much more spacious sound (with some built-in sound imaging) than the TV's pathetic speakers, but bass is just adequate. The unit is very nice looking.
But: The headphone jack is on the rear of the unit, not front, a bit of cost-cutting idiocy. The blue light at the top cannot be dimmed (except with a covering, detracting from the unit's sophisticated styling). Even with converter boxes, I was not able to get an optical audio signal to the product without distortion.
The person in charge of packaging must have come from the perfume industry or Oppo: The product is housed in a high-end black box with lots of glittery stuff. Now, Oppo can get away with it, but... In my view, were the Cine5 about half of its current (list) price, it might be a good value. Ultimately, I decided there was a better approach to obtaining improved TV sound than the Cine5, so returned it.
