Suitable for ages 13+

Across Eternity is a beautiful love story that tells of love that transcends time....

Logan Richards is doubly blessed. Not only is he a genius but he has a rare gift, he remembers things and not just from this life but all his lifetimes. He lives a life of wealth and luxury and has never lacked any material possession. There has never been an obstacle his intellect couldn’t overcome. But Logan has a problem: every night he dreams of the same woman, a woman he has dreamt of all his life. He knows she is real and he is determined to find her and convince her she belongs with him, forever.

Amber Lewis, a waitress for a five-star restaurant in Dana Point, California, is overworked and stressed. Her sister’s death has left her weary and wondering if there’s something more to life than mere existence. Then, one evening while working she meets Logan Richards, a chivalrous man who feels deeply familiar.

Fate has brought them together, but will their growing love prove strong enough to resist the forces that could pull them apart?

HASH(0x9eae59c0) out of 5 stars Grammatical errors made this almost unreadable. Nov. 13 2011
By Pamela Prothro - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I don't know whether to blame the author, a copyeditor, or whatever process converts a print book into Kindle, but this book was so filled with grammatical errors that it was almost unreadable. There were dozens of instances of wrong words (sensor for censor, hallow for hollow, defiantly for definitely, lay for lie), dangling participles ("stuffed and barely able to move, the pancakes . . ."), apostrophes that appeared where they should not (didn't') or disappeared where they should be (my moms welcome), run-on sentences, and incomplete sentences. Most prevalent was the misuse of commas, which often appeared where they shouldn't (the long, coffee table) or disappeared where they should have been, particularly to separate the clauses in compound sentences.

HASH(0x9eb03cb4) out of 5 stars Sappy, predictable Feb. 2 2012
By Clearing_Boxer - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Filled with "I love you more!", "No, I love you more!" type dialogue and more punctuation/grammatical errors than I can count, Across Eternity had its sweet moments but ultimately was too sappy to take seriously.

HASH(0x9edf8d14) out of 5 stars Needs some more development Aug. 10 2011
By Rachel McElhany - Published on
Format: Paperback
Across Eternity is the story of Amber Lewis, a twenty-something waitress. One night she waits on Logan Richards, a wealthy, successful and smart thirty-seven year old man. Over the course of twenty-fours they fall madly in love. Logan seems familiar to Amber and he's desperate to get her to remember why.

I think this book had a good plot outline for the most part, it just needed a lot more story and character development. There was too much telling me the story instead of showing me the story. I didn't feel any chemistry between Logan and Amber and most of their dialogue seemed stilted and awkward. Consequently, I didn't care that much how things ended up between them.

In reading other reviews on GoodReads and Amazon, it appears I'm in the minority in not liking this book so feel free to poke around on those sites and see what others are saying.

HASH(0x9f460948) out of 5 stars magical web of this romantic and tragic tale Oct. 3 2013
By Wendy L. Hines - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Reincarnation and eternal love. Some believe and some don't. This is the story of a love that transcends time. Logan has known her all of his life, but when he was ten, she left him to be born. But before she did, she explained to him that he was special, he would remember. She would not. Logan assured her that he would find her and help her remember.

Years later, he sees her. She is a waitress at a five-star restaurant. He's been waiting all of his life for this moment. She says she feels like she knows him, but she doesn't remember. Logan will help her with that.
As the connection strengthens, Amber falls in love with Logan. He convinces her to quit her jobs and to travel the world with him. Hopelessly in love, she agrees. What she doesn't realize is that all of the places Logan takes her is places they have visited in their past lives. But none of it triggers Amber's repressed memories until they get to Ireland.

There, at an old pub, she begins to remember. But will she remember in time? Logan's time in this life is nearing it's end. He will remember for his next life, but she won't. Will they get the chance to be together for a time in this one before their souls begin a new journey of seeking one another?

Across Eternity is a beautiful love story. Logan and Amber are phenomenal characters full of depth, and their characters really blossom as the story develops. The supporting characters are also well developed. The author has done an impeccable job of plot development, keeping this reader up late into the night, caught in the magical web of this romantic and tragic tale. A highly recommended read!

HASH(0x9ecaf804) out of 5 stars Across Eternity by Aris Whittier Aug. 17 2012

Amber Lewis likes her job and the life she has built in spite of the troubles in her past. For the first time she feels independent, strong and on the right track. While times are still tough Amber knows she is going in the right direction. Not looking for love she will need a good deal of convincing to get her to take a chance once more.

Logan Richards is wealthy and well educated. A world traveler and successful businessman, Logan has all that he desires and needs. Except for the one thing that has eluded him. The right woman, the only woman, the woman of his dreams. He has traveled the world looking for her only to find her right in his own town. Not only in his town, working in the business he owns. Now if he can only convince her that he is the right man for her.

A gentle and warm love story, Across Eternity, will warm your heart as it explores the questions of "soul mates" and fate. Is there one person who has waited for each of us through time and generations? How do we know if our perfect mate is out there?

I can't promise you a perfect ending but this story will bring romance and hope into your heart. While it does have some grammar errors they are not too distracting. Bring a tissue and enjoy a heartwarming romance.
