Totally works as intended, seems to have good quality as well. My garage has a welder 6-50 outlet from the previous owner of the property. When i took delivery of my model 3, i assumed it was the 14-50 dryer outlet, although they are totally different (im very electrical illiterate so)
Anyways, so after i got home with my model 3 i was like shit this 14-50 cord totally doesnt fit, almost had a panic attack.
So i look up this on google and apparently such adaptor exists so i ended buying this one.
The result so far is great, using household 120v outlet charging model 3 only delivers 1kw, vs. Using this adapter via 6-50 outlet delivers 8kw. Night and day difference.
