Great book. Not recomanded for total beginners. The book dives right in with assembly code. For experieced users is great. 90% assembly code, 10% C code in the examples. All code is well documented and explaind. Have fun!

Wer sich einen fundierten Überblick verschaffen möchte ist mit diesem Buch trotz oder gerade wegen des Alters bestens bedient. Alle im Buch behandelten Themen werden so tiefgehend behandelt, wie es der Titel verspricht. Die Unterscheidung zwischen MS-DOS und PC/IBM-DOS ist wirklich hilfreich.
