HASH(0x9ebb2a10) out of 5 stars Adventures of a Suburban Mystic March 5 2001

Format: Paperback
Amazing story of a very courageous woman. The author colorfully describes her experience with the Hindu Kundalini, which was riviting reading for someone unfamiliar with the energy experience and Hindu beliefs. This book acquainted me with another realm of mystism that until recently I had not explored, and stirred a curiosity to learn more about it. An unexpected twist will prompt the reader to consider a larger plan at work, one that looms an uneasy feeling and questioning "who's really in charge here". This is not your typical new age inspirational piece. The author is to be commended for keeping true to herself and having the courage to present her story as it unfolded for her. Very exciting and thought-povoking work. It stirred a multitude of questions within this curious mind.

HASH(0xa314df9c) out of 5 stars Astounding Journey July 3 2001

Format: Paperback
This is one of the best metaphysical journey books I've ever read. It is written in such vivid language that I felt like I was right there experiencing the unusual events along with the author. We are given an inside look at the spirit world through different religions, cultures, and mystical paths. We hear first-hand accounts of the supernatural from a Jamaican shaman, a Native American storyteller, a Buddhist monk, a martial arts master, and others who share their wisdom and tales of the unknown. I thought I knew a lot about spirituality and mysticism, but this book continually surprised me. A fascinating and thought-provoking read.
