AGENTS OF CHANGE Synopsis

Is he a military intelligence agent, or a Vatican spy? A Jesuit assassin, or a government hitman? An agent-provocateur, or a revolutionary fomenting the biggest threat to the U.S. since the Cold War?

He has gone rogue, and his handlers trace him to shady warzones where unlikely revolutionaries form the leading force for a dramatic World changeover. The battle for change erupts, and threatens to engulf the Planet. Agents of Change infiltrate the battlefields, and establishments of public and religious life, because with its murderous military-industrial complexes, rogue banksters, backward religious institutions, and corrupt political systems, the world is in need of a radical transformation.

Will Agents of Change be stopped, or will they right what is wrong?...

PRAISE FOR JACK KING

"A New King of Thrillers on the Horizon." Sisters in Crime

"If you like spy thrillers with shady characters, twisting plots that involve international conspiracies, and fascinating foreign locales, then you must read Jack King". The Beach Metro News

"King's debut novel is powerful, riveting and an incredible ride through the back passageways of international politics. Strong characters, believable (if incredible) plot lines and nonstop action almost make each page turn without the reader's help. King has entered the spy genre arena with some hefty ammunition of his own."TheBestReviews.com and the Old Book Barn Gazette

"King, a former courier of top-secret information, delivers a tightly wound debut thriller ... [with] intelligent dialogue, relentless pacing and well-rounded characters (including a hauntingly familiar American president)." Publisher's Weekly

HASH(0xa645ba08) out of 5 stars AGENTS OF CHANGE WILL CHANGE YOU March 31 2013
By K. J. Janssen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Having read Jack King's previous novels, I had high expectations for his latest, Agents of Change. I was not disappointed.

The Second Vatican Council (Vatican II) was the most significant single event in modern day Catholicism. It was concluded that the church needed to demonstrate more concern for the conditions of the modern world while still holding close to its sacred traditions. The council fostered cooperation and understanding of other Christian churches and their secular mores.

Change within an organization of its size does not come easily and fifty years after the historic council, while some feel a sense of exhilaration about the modicum of changes made to-date, there are many others who are vocal about what they see as a betrayal of the spirit of change promised by Vatican II.

It is not surprising, then, to find the Jesuit order in the thick of this controversy. Known at times
to be overly liberal and diverging from official Church teaching and papal directives, the Jesuits are split when it comes to the role they should be playing in today's society.

As Agents of Change in the USA, a sector of the Jesuit Order, corrupted by anti-papal dissenters, is intent on changing the political structure, banking, military-industrial complex and educational systems. Their motto, Ad maiorem Dei gloriam (To the greater glory of God) has a special meaning to them; the end justifies the means.

Obedience to the Order and to the Pope no longer has any meaning to these agents of change as the Church's teachings on abortion, birth control, masturbation, pre-marital sex, homosexuality women as deacons, secular issues involving globalization, consumerism and control of economies by capitalist/banksters are at the forefront of their rebellion. Anyone standing in their way is fair game for retaliation; violence and murder not excepted.

King's timing, in the light of the first Jesuit Pope being elected, is nothing less than astounding.

His novels usually leave the reader asking, "Can this happen here?" With Agents of Change
the question becomes, "Is this already happening?", "Can the new Vatican leadership rein in these agents of change?" and "Will they once again subordinate themselves to Papal authority?"

Don't miss Agents of Change. It is a must read for Jack King fans and for anyone desiring to have a "behind the scenes" glimpse of how secret groups function.

vatican, the oldest continually operating intelligence agency in the world has a mole inn the pentagon. As military intelligence hunts for the mole, the agents stumble upon a global network of priest spies who penetrated governments, fomenting revolutionary changes. Death squads, coups, uprisings, the revolution is bloody, but the goal is a completely changed world. this is a pretty exciting thriller, particularly giiven the new Pope Francis dubbed the communist pope.
HASH(0xa6452aa4) out of 5 stars ... how this book obtained 5 stars - it is terrible and lacks any decent writing at all Jan. 28 2016

I really do not know how this book obtained 5 stars - it is terrible and lacks any decent writing at all. Perhaps it was written by a child as a first attempt & someone took pity on him? One of the worst books I have (tried to) read for a long time.
